Born with a rare, undiagnosed immune
deficiency and chronic lung disease, Riley had
an incredibly strong will and determination
to overcome these challenges. He challenged
the science of medicine. He underwent
chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at
the age of 3 months, He also spent a total
of 4 months on a ventilator in the PICU. The
majority of his life was spent in the hospital. Although
Riley was only with us for 17 months, he
taught us strength, courage, and love. We
will miss him forever.
